Thank you for choosing Nippon Culinary for your Japanese culinary journey. We strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with all of our products and services. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for returns, refunds, and cancellations.
1. Digital Products
For digital products such as e-books, recipe collections, and downloadable content:
- 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all our digital products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date.
- How to Request a Refund: To request a refund for digital products, please email us at info@taenhill.com with your order number and a brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
- Non-Refundable Scenarios: We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we detect abuse of our refund policy, such as excessive refund requests or evidence that the content has been copied or distributed.
2. Online Cooking Classes
For our virtual cooking classes and workshops:
- Cancellation Policy:
- Full refund if cancelled more than 7 days before the scheduled class
- 50% refund if cancelled 3-7 days before the scheduled class
- No refund if cancelled less than 3 days before the scheduled class
- Class Rescheduling: If you cannot attend a class, you may reschedule once at no additional cost if the request is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time.
- Class Recordings: For missed classes, a recording will be available for 30 days after the live session. No refunds will be issued for missed classes if recordings are provided.
3. In-Person Workshops and Events
For our in-person cooking workshops and culinary events:
- Cancellation Policy:
- Full refund if cancelled more than 14 days before the event
- 75% refund if cancelled 7-14 days before the event
- 50% refund if cancelled 3-7 days before the event
- No refund if cancelled less than 3 days before the event
- Event Transfer: You may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost if you notify us at least 24 hours before the event.
- Event Cancellation by Nippon Culinary: If we cancel an event for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another event date.
4. Merchandise and Physical Products
For cooking tools, cookbooks, and other physical products:
- Return Period: You may return unopened, undamaged products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price (excluding shipping costs).
- Return Process: To initiate a return, please email info@taenhill.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with return instructions.
- Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is damaged or defective.
- Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.
5. Subscriptions and Membership Plans
For our recipe club, premium content access, and other subscription services:
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at info@taenhill.com.
- Prorated Refunds: If you cancel within the first 7 days of a new billing cycle, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of that cycle.
- Annual Subscriptions: For annual subscriptions, you may receive a partial refund based on the number of months used if you cancel before the end of the subscription period.
6. Gift Cards
Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable but are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
7. Processing Time
We process all refund requests within 5-7 business days. Once approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take an additional 3-10 business days to appear on your account, depending on your financial institution.
